160 Delaware Avenue, Put-In-Bay, Ohio | 419-285-2212
The Put-in-Bay Carriage House was purchased by June and George Stoiber in 1976. When the Stoibers purchased the building, it had a dirt floor and not much else. Island residents stored their transportation carriages in this nearly 5500 square foot, wood-sided landmark building.
Today the store features over 100 styles of Put-in-Bay tee shirts available in sizes from 3 months to 5XL, nautical gifts for your cottage and boat, the perfect pirate sword for the matey in your household, and the perfect toy or collar for Fido and Fifi.
Your kids won’t let you miss a ride on Kimberly’s Carousel, one of the oldest original wooden-horse carousels in the country. Built in 1917, your family can experience this historical ride located right next door the Carriage House. Don’t forget to check inside the mouth of “Petey the Perch!”
Established in 1922, The Carriage House is one of Put-in-Bay’s oldest and largest souvenir shops as well as home to an original Allen Herschell Carousel built in N. Tonawanda, New York in 1917.
